Limited Edition 100% Wool Blanket Grey & Burgundy Stripe

This limited edition of blankets was designed and made especially for Petersham Nurseries. The colours emerged and finalised by Sally Hampson spending time at the nursery. Then sampling the 100% Merino wool on a small hand loom, before they were woven and finished up in the Scottish Borders.

Sally Hampson has travelled to the Outer Hebrides, the Highlands of Scotland and the West Coast of Ireland, visiting indigenous weavers of tweed cloth and blankets. Her colours and textures are never far from these landscapes, full of earthy hues, lichen and mosses.
