Crocosmia like well-drained but moist soil in a sunny, open location. Flowering all summer long, crocosmia are perfect for adding vibrant colour to borders and containers, and make excellent cut flowers. Crocosmia are long-lived, and need very little attention once established. Over winter, provide a good mulch in all but the mildest areas.
