A one-of-a-kind ceramic plate, created by Jacqueline Leighton Boyce especially for Petersham Nurseries.
Delicate stems of golden-yellow helenium flowers stretch across a softly textured cream ground, their fine, expressive lines capturing the natural movement of the plant. A gently irregular rim, finished in deep green with subtle earthy accents, frames the botanical composition, while a small, intricately painted flower head adds an unexpected detail.
With its restrained palette and delicate, observational quality, this unique piece reflects Jacqueline's distinctive approach to depicting the natural world.
