A one-of-a-kind ceramic dish, created by Jacqueline Leighton Boyce especially for Petersham Nurseries.
Softly painted roses in delicate shades of cream, blush and muted pink emerge from a simple vase, accompanied by a single rosebud and slender foliage. The loosely brushed grey-green background lends depth to the composition, while the gently raised, frilled edge is finished with a fine green outline and small touches of pink.
Romantic yet understated, this individual piece captures the fleeting beauty of garden roses through Jacqueline's expressive brushwork and distinctive approach to ceramics.
